Last Rocket From Earth

from dacca · host dacca

I was combining memories of H.G. Well's "Things To Come" black and white science-fiction classic movie (based on his 1933 novel), and Elon Musk's vision of a human city on Mars. I envisioned Well's dystopian vision coming true, and Musk's last Space X rocket to Mars being the final rocket ship to leave Earth before we descend into conflict. I used some voice samples in Logic to build up a story along the lines above. There are clearly some technical difficulties with leaking coolant and a break down in communications, with the ground crew insisting that the the ship "Go...Go, Go!". Luckily they leave Earth safely, on their way to Musk's Martian city. ------------ The image (altered by me) is from the Wells movie.
