Last Stop for the Beauty Queen Killer

In 1984, a woman waits by her broken down car on highway in Massachusetts when a man stops to offer assistance. Neither the Samaritan’s charming demeanor nor his handsome appearance cause the woman any alarm, so when he offers to drive her to a nearby mechanic, she accepts. She has no idea that she’s just accepted a ride from a serial killer. His evil intentions become apparent at the next exit when he turns the car in the wrong direction. In this special ‘’Behind the Badge” episode of APB Cold Case, a former police chief of Wenham, Massachusetts shares the story of how a brave young woman helped police bring a vicious killer to his last stop.
