Last Word

from Community Church Leeds Hosted by Community Church Leeds

Last words are powerful. Sadly, David's last words were a mix of the good (as he reflected on the dependability of God), the bad (as he revealed festering grudges) and the ugly (as he ordered mafia-like killings). David's light dims but the disappointents we may feel in his failings are transformed to delight when we see him as a shadow of the one to come - the second David. This King sits on the throne forever and is the one flawless servant of God. Passage; 2 Samuel 23:1-7; 1 Kings 2:1-11; Matthew 1:1; Romans 1:1-3 Series; The Rule of King David Speaker; Rich Colbrook Date; 09/28/2025
