Laszlo Jozsa, documentarian, Menjek/Maradjak, episode 7

from Budapest: The Podcast

Laszlo is is an old friend of mine and longtime maker of all sorts of things video. Two years ago he self-funded and filmed a documentary following the lives of two Hungarians living in New York, giving us a small glimpse at the trials and tribulations they faced across the ocean. The documentary was well-received and picked up for broadcast on Hungarian national television. Following on that success, his latest project now chronicles six Hungarians living in London, and is scheduled for release in June. We spoke at length about his projects, on what the New York pair is up to these days, distance running, Hungary’s place in the world, his travels in the Southern US as teenager, and much more!
