Laszlo Szögeczki gives very valuable insight into the philosophy of "Conductive Education" (PETÖ) and points out what everyone can learn from this
from The Superdad Entrepreneur
A few years ago I was introduced to "Conductive Education" - a special form of therapy (I thought) for children with disabilities, which was developd by Andras Petö about 70 years ago. We started the program with my daughter and found out that this way of working with her has brought great progress in her every day skills and established a status - together with other therapies - that doctors called "not possible" when she was a few years younger. In this episode I talk to Laszlo Szögeczki who is a former primary school teacher and now works as a conductive trainer. Laszlo is also member of the board of the European Conductive Education Association.and author of a book on "Conductive Education".He explains why conductive eduction is a philosophy rather than a therapy, why it works for everyone and he makes clear that the principles are timeless. And I frankly admit that I learned a lot about Conductive Education even though my daughter has been doing this for almost six years now.
