Late-Arriving Mailed Ballots & Fresno-Area Races Results

The Supreme Court ruled that states may continue counting legally cast mail ballots that arrive after Election Day under state rules, preserving systems already used in much of the country and rejecting a challenge supported by President Trump and allied Republican groups.  Fresno County is considering a policy that would let certain county employees with valid CCW permits carry firearms at work and on county property, subject to approval. Supporters say the change improves employee safety amid growing threats against public workers, while opponents are likely to raise concerns about introducing more weapons into government workplaces.
