Late-Night History (Tom Walma)

from Creativity Wasted · host Tom Walma

Idea: A TV show where people learn about history by watching jokes, primarily obtained from late-night talk show monologues from the relevant time period. Each half-hour episode would be a series of jokes, all about the same historical event, such as the Iran-Contra scandal. Blurbs and graphics would display pieces of information required to understand the event and "get" the jokes, even if you knew nothing about the historical event before watching the episode Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 81 Gerrit Elzinga (twitter.com/GerritElzinga Podcast: facebook.com/thisbetterbegoodpodcast) David Sutherland (twitter.com/skrtskrtsuther1) Diego Attanasio (twitter.com/DiegoComedy) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Recorded at Podcast Detroit (https://podcastdetroit.com)
