Late Night Pep Talk: Alignment

from Moms Working Overtime · host Alanna Hellman

The chaos of this season is only beginning and will continue until the end of the year. Therefore, it's so important that we all reconsider our priorities. Because if you try to make everything the most important thing at once, you will drown from now until at least December 26th. On today's episode, we reassess what you say your top priorities are vs. the way you spend your time. Does the way you spend your time reflect what you say is most important? Often...it doesn't. We end up feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and burnt out because you're trying to make everything a priority when everything can't be a priority all at once. Once you clarify your goal and the goal of your family unit, it becomes easier to decide what the priorities are. And it's easier for you to determine if the ways you're investing your VERY precious and limited time are actually in alignment with your goals. As moms, we have to be more assertive and protect our peace stronger than ever, considering the demands and expectations placed on us in today's society. You can't be afraid to say "no, sorry that doesn't align with our goals right now." You were designed perfectly for this role and for your children. Make decisions that feel right to you and don't feel one bit guilty for them. Support the showLet's connect on social media!
