Late Night Rescue on the Ozark Highland

Welcome back to Wayward Stories!   This week we’re going to talk about a very recent rescue our team effected in the backcountry on the Ozark Highland Trail. A hiker had a mishap and was unable to self-rescue, and we, along with other responding agencies, were able to execute a successful extraction. We’re telling this story tonight because you guys always seem to love the Search and Rescue episodes, and there’s always value in learning about the process for any outdoors-person that spends time out in the field. Altogether it was a very interesting case, and makes for for some great listening!
