Wellington Civil Defence Emergency Management Controller Sam Bishop spoke to John Campbell. MetService has issued heavy swell warnings in Wairarapa - between Turakirae Head and Mataikona. John also spoke to Luke Tipoki from the Lake Ferry Hotel on the Wairarapa coast.
