The phenomena included unexplained noises, children's unusual behavior like walking backward up walls, and instances of levitation, attracting attention from medical personnel, police, and Child Protective Services. Reverend Michael Maginot conducted multiple exorcisms, and the family eventually moved out, ceasing the reported activity. The case drew significant media attention, became the subject of a documentary by paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, who later demolished the house, and remains a point of contention between believers in the supernatural and skeptics.
