After facing various challenges and delays, Kevin and Sonja Staples have embarked on a unique journey to become mission leaders in the Utah St. George Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Their mission, originally intended for St. Petersburg, Russia, was thwarted by visa issues. They were released from their mission call in 2021 due to the pandemic. However, the family received a new assignment to serve in Utah, moving from Kalamazoo, Michigan, to St. George.
