Laugh It Up Fuzzball Wayback #8 - (Ep. 58) – We All Float

from Laugh It Up Fuzzball · host Joe "The Wookiee" Riot

Welcome to the place where we get to let our geek flags fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This level of the podcast is a wayback brought to you by grief and the realization that this level wasn’t available on the spotify collection of the podcast. Words don’t do it for this experience of losing a kiddo. Grief unfortunately isn’t a team sport but I take great comfort in having these episodes both for myself and to share. Let’s activate the wayback and head to September 17, 2017 back when life was happier and the podcast was much much younger. Hey howdy hey friends. Wookiee back with another guest joining me for an episode about life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. I’m so stoked my oldest kiddo joined me to talk all about the 2017 movie IT. We went to see it and had to get some of our thoughts out to the interweb. Most of the podcast is all about the movie in a general overview sort of way. We tried hard to avoid spoilers but just in case, here’s your warning there might be something given away if you haven’t seen IT. Overall, we stayed on task with only a little digression about other things like politics. Hard to avoid that when you’re talking with a politically woke human being like my oldest little wookiee. If you ever wondered what I look like watching scary movies… this is your show. This is an honest review of the newest Stephen King adaptation plus some digression into the novel, the miniseries from the 80s, coulrophobia, a-holes in Pennsylvania, other creepy clown movies (Stitches/Dead Clowns/Killer Clowns From Outer Space), actors the Losers would like to play their adult selves, Happy Death Day, an RIP for Tobe Hooper, Poltergeist, circuses, hybrid animals, American Horror Story Cult, and Stephen King tweets. So much fun having a conversation with one of my offspring and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it. Congrats on completing another wayback level of the podcast! Despite the sadness, I’m so happy I have a conversation like this saved. Think positive, test negative, stay safe, wash your hands, wear a mask, and good luck out there. Tell your friends, geekery is always better with peers. Thank YOU for being a part of this hilarity! May the force be with us all, thanks for stopping by, you stay classy, be excellent to each other and party on dudes! TTFN… Wookiee out!
