Laughing Through Tough Times with Erik Rivera

Comedian Erik Rivera (HBO, Entre Nos) joins Erin in this episode of Hot Pizza Ass to talk about the current state of the industry with all of entertainment on hold. He also talks about how he started stand up in another time of panic, 9/11, and how comedy helped people get through difficult times then, and now. Also, how including material about his father's battle with Parkinson's on his Entre Nos special ended up being a rewarding, healing experience for him and for other people as well. They also talk about gig economy, and share stories about side hustles, bad jobs, and times they got fired.   Watch Erik Rivera's HBO Latino special "Super White," support his monthly show "Brown-ish" at the Laugh Factory.
