Laughing While Undefining W/ Kendra Dawsey
from UndefiningThePod Hosted by Glo Butler
In this hilarious and heartfelt episode, stand-up comedian Kendra Dawsey joins Glo Butler to talk queerness, comedy, food, and finding your voice onstage and around the world. From the cultural quirks of travel to carving out space as a Black queer comic, Kendra shares stories that are as funny as they are meaningful. They also talk about their upcoming role opening for their wife, comedian @Madeleinmurphy in her comedy special (dropping soon via Comedy Dynamics!), their Substack Horror Is Real Life, and why comedy—when done right—makes space for joy, discomfort, and truth.
