Welcome to TheCoolKarnisKarnis are deeds in Sanskrit. So The Cool Karnis are the cool deeds, and that is what we share, celebrate and learn on this journey together. The_CoolKarnis is a podcast where we host passionate trailblazers who Defy Stereotypes, Break boundaries and forge new paths! #TheCoolKarnisWhy, you ask? Let us play a small guessing game (do not look up my LinkedIn profile :)) If I told you I graduated in India in the late 90s and asked you to guess my degree, you’d probably say Engineering. You’d be right.If I asked you to guess my industry, you’d say IT. Right again.If you guessed the companies I’ve worked for, names like Infosys or Wipro would likely come up. Correct for the third time.By most professional metrics, I am a "stereotype." And a proud one at that! But as I looked around my network, I realised that while many of us fit a mold, there are some amongst us—your friends and mine—who are doing something different. They are breaking boundaries, defying the stereotype, and forging new paths while being incredibly successful at it!I call their actions "Cool Karnis" (Cool Deeds). And that is why I started this podcast in August 2024. Yes, the podcast is live and I have 33 episodes already. Why a late announce?Honestly, I was not sure how serious I was with this passion. But 1.5 years into it, I confess I am addicted and intend to connect with as many trailblazers and learn from their CoolKarnis! Each guest has taught me something new about their passion, given me an insight into their key drivers and most importantly inspired me in more ways than one! What to expect?We have connected with a global beauty pageant title holder, 27 times IRONMAN, endurance fitness entrepreneurs, Technocrat, Sports Commentator, Vedic scholar & Gurukula Founder, Rocket Scientist, Yoga Guru, DEI Champion, Multifaceted Social Entrepreneur, Firefighter, Model turned Tech Role Model... all of them have one thing in common... they started their journey like you and me, and found their true calling along the journey. And then we also have an Artist Series where we connect with a wide range of artists who skilfully balance both boats - professional and artistic! In each episode we introduce a new CoolKarnis / Guest. We can learn about a new passion, uncover interesting facts about our guest, and get inspired by their struggles and journeys. Some guest journeys may spread over 2 episodes to ensure we maintain the length of the episodes. I assure you that each journey will touch you in some way -inspiring you to improve one micro habit at a time! You can use it towards your profession or your passion.
