Partnering with French electro-rock duo No Money Kids, she embraced a more modern edge while preserving the blues-rock roots that first put her on the map.The album’s creation was unusually relaxed, unfolding over several months between home recordings and studio sessions, a process Cox says felt “smooth,” “natural,” and free from the pressure of rigid studio deadlines.
