This session explores the deep relationship between beauty, pleasure, and embodied grace through the lens of the Ahuianimeh—highly skilled women in pre-Colonial Mexico known for their artistry, charisma, intelligence, and mastery of sensual presence. Participants will examine how their traditions illuminate pleasure as a pathway to self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a fully lived life. The class offers gentle embodiment practices that can be integrated into daily life to cultivate inner radiance, deepen intuitive connection with the body, and reclaim pleasure as a source of personal sovereignty and spiritual grounding.About Rev. Laura González is a Spiritual and Community Healer, Priestess, and Minister who specializes in Traditional Mexican Folk Magic, Native Philosophies, and North American Paganism in the Goddess tradition. She serves as Ixtlamatketl for Kalpulli Xinachtli Xochikalli, a Chicago-based group practicing Mexico’s Nahua Tradition. Laura actively advocates for Indigenous, Pagan, LGBTQIA, and women’s rights.
