La sucursal de Garbarino en Tandil permanece cerrada por decisión de sus trabajadores quienes no cobran sus sueldos desde abril. Recientemente, la empresa depositó el 15% de la deuda pero no alcanzó para destrabar la medida de fuerza. Laura Gualco, empleada de la cadena en Tandil, contó que hace cuatro meses que no reciben salarios.  “El problema más urgente es el de la obras sociales”, indicó.  “Nos comunicaron que están todas cortadas por falta de pago y ni siquiera nos podemos dar el lujo de ir a una guardia.  Ni hablar de los que tiene familiares en tratamiento oncológico”, señaló Gualco en Radio Tandil.
