She was the editor at Views & Voices, a magazine for women in Western Pennsylvania. In 2016, she received a Professional Keystone Press Award. But music is her passion so in 2013 Lauren launched The Grey Estate as a way to combat the marginalization of female and non-binary voices in the music journalism industry.
