A deal has been reached to avoid the LAUSD strike. The last of the three unions, SEIU Local 99, which represents 30,000 workers, reached an agreement with the district early this morning. The new contract includes a 24% wage increase over three years. But how will these new deals impact the district going forward? Adrian Sandoval, the SVP of policy and advocacy at Great Public Schools Now talks about it with L.A.'s Morning News.
