Law enforcement personnel investigate body found at Helton Nature Park

Law enforcement personnel are currently investigating a deceased individual found June 23 at Helton Nature Park on F.M. 775 north of Floresville.     According to Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Skylar Dailey, deputies responded at approximately 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday to a report of a deceased person at the park.     Upon arrival, deputies located an adult female, deceased, on the bank of the San Antonio River.     The discovery led to the temporary closure of Helton Nature Park, which has since been reopened by San Antonio River Authority.     Preliminary findings indicate that the victim suffered a...
