Originally from the Southwest she is now working as an Associate Barrister for Browne Jacobson based in Exeter. Hear about the steps to become a Barrister and Kiera’s own personal experiences. This includes what Kiera wishes she’d known before undertaking the journey and her top tips for aspiring Barristers. Please note, Kiera refers to a requirement for aspiring solicitors who are non-law undergraduates to complete the law conversion course. Since the introduction of the SQE in September 2021 this has changed, technically there isn’t a requirement to do this, however we recommend checking with your shortlisted firms in the first instance.
