Lawan Lapar: Farmers For Food Security

On 13 September, 2023, a group of farmers from Perak, as well as representatives of the Lawan Lapar Movement, marched to Parliament with a memorandum on food security. The memorandum calls on the government to intervene in plans by the Perak state to turn farms into housing and industrial developments.
