The Law of Sin and Death vs. The Law of the Spirit of Life We’ve been delivered from the dominion of sin. But even as born-again believers, “if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13) Our ability to live and thrive in the higher law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus depends completely on our relationship with God, because that is the environment for faith to be fueled.
