Layla George & Mayor Greenberg on the Belvedere rebirth

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and project executive Layla George joined Terry Meiners to discuss the dazzling new vision for a reimagined Belvedere in downtown.The project will begin with a bolstering of the 1,900 space parking garage that Mayor Greenberg says "looks like Mammoth Cave" with so many ceiling cracks and leaking water issues. Then the full redo of the Belvedere is expected to be fully finished by Derby time in 2030.Layla George discusses design elements, the creative process, and the outreach to local philanthropies to help fully fund the project.
