Layla Reyna, Strap On Halo lead vocalist and Licorice Chamber

Layla Reyna is best known as the vocalist for the popular US goth rock trio Strap On Halo for more than a decade (2008-2020).  Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the trio toured the US, the UK and Europe and joined the Uk's The Last Cry and DJ Martin Oldgoth at the "Near Dark Over Europe" Tour in 2014. Strap On Halo released two albums and several EPs and singles, easily winning over US, UK and European fans of the dark, visceral, guitar-driven howl of early Cocteau Twins, Faith and the Muse, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Mephisto Walz and X-Mal Deutschland. Now based in Seattle, Washington, Reyna has a new project called Licorice Chamber. She released her debut EP early this year called 'The Taste of Falling'. The lead single and video ‘This Love is Dark’ was released in December 2021, accompanied by the stomping Codename:Lola dancefloor remix from UK DJ / producer / musician Lee Meadows (DJ BatBoy Slim, The Glass House Museum). The single and the remix have remained in daily rotation ever since, via specialist DJ sets, radio shows, livestreams, webcasts, and curated playlists worldwide. Guest players on the EP include New Zealand guitarists Michel Rowland UTM Music Group and Blair Wotton.
