2½ Hours — An Intentional Journey From the First Beat to the Last A 2½-hour live set from Ben Boom. Seven months went into this set. This isn’t simply a collection of tracks mixed together. Every song, every arrangement, every transition, and every moment has been deliberately chosen to create one continuous journey from the first beat to the last. Months of listening, rearranging, rebuilding, experimenting, and obsessing over the smallest details went into finding the right record for the right moment. The goal was never just to make individual songs sound good together, but to create a progression—an evolution of energy, emotion, tension, release, and atmosphere that unfolds naturally across the entire 2½ hours. I’ve always believed that a great DJ set should take you somewhere. The music should gradually pull you deeper, shift your perspective, change the way you experience time, and create moments that feel bigger than the individual tracks themselves. This particular set was built with that experience in mind. It’s meant to be heard as one piece, with each song serving a purpose in the larger story. Some moments are meant to build anticipation. Some are meant to hit hard. Others are there to let you breathe before the next wave arrives. Whether you’re hearing it on a dance floor, through headphones, or somewhere in between, the intention is the same: take you somewhere. Don’t skip tracks. Don’t shuffle it. Let it play from beginning to end. The journey is the set.
