How do our desires shape our prosperity? Through the power of free-market interactions and by pursuing our own private self-interests. But why should you care?  Well, according to Newsweek, one study of 71 four year American universities claims that 24 percent of respondents had a positive view of capitalism, compared to the 32 percent who had a positive view of socialism. Something is very wrong there and I would say if we don’t get our younger kids informed in economics and informed about the history of the abject failure of communism and socialism, they will be headed for an easy slaughter here in the United States.
