LE FONS - VOLUPTAS
from UXRZONE — Synthetic Metaradio Hosted by LE FONS
◈ Le Fons. VOLUPTAS. This one opens warm. A filtered 2-step beat settles under a Rhodes that feels like late-night Shibuya through a rain-streaked window. The Motown funk bass arrives early and never lets go. The drop hits hard. Punchy 2-step drums, ghost rimshots shuffling underneath, disco strings cutting in with horn stabs. The bassline is the lead instrument here. Virtuoso, cocky, locked in a groove that pulls from late-90s UK garage rave energy and bends it into something unmistakably Tokyo. Soulful vocal chops float above. A psychedelic synth lead winds through the frequency like smoke. Breakdown strips it back. Rhodes, a sax solo, filtered drums. The room breathes. Then the outro walks it out on pure Motown funk bass, no fanfare. ──────────── Japanese city-pop house at its most deliberate.
