Elles devraient éviter le jus de citron chaud à jeun, particulièrement en hiver, car cela peut entrainer une déminéralisation sur le long terme.Par ailleurs, l'eau chaude altère les bienfaits de la vitamine C du citron. Enfin, le PH acide de cet agrume, compris entre 2 et 2,5, peut agresser les muqueuses et avoir des effets négatifs sur le système digestif.
