LE$ on 23rd Mixtape Drop, D.I.O.S brand, Rap Training with Curren$y, Slim Thug & More

LE$ is one half of the braintrust and brand that is D.I.O.S (did it ourselves), with partner Jorgey, but built that momentum first with a unique sound and rap career.Previously being party of Curren$y's "Jet Life," and Slim Thug's "Boss Hog Outlawz," Le$ first burst on the scene during the "Blog Era" with the help and Twitter amplification of DJ Mr. Rogers back in 2009. Since then, the two formed a solid collaborative friendship and partnership, dropping his Steak x Shrimp series, and now on his 23-in-a-row (and more to come) mixtape series.Le$ hails originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, now a Houston resident and staple since around 2004, we take a deeper look into one of the men who "doesn't do interview," with some exclusives from what may be Houston's, still, best kept 'lifestyle rap' emcee.
