Dans les salons du magnifique hôtel Monte-Carlo Bay, David Massey, directeur du Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, a présenté les grandes lignes de la 118e édition prévue du 5 au 13 avril sur les courts du Monte-Carlo Country Club. Une édition placée sous le signe de l’expansion. L’une des grandes nouveautés sera la privatisation du Monte-Carlo Beach Club, situé à proximité. Il s’agit d’offrir aux participants des conditions encore plus exceptionnelles : un véritable cocon, entièrement réservé aux joueurs, à leur staff et à leurs familles. Le casting définitif des 45 joueurs qualifiés d’office pour le tableau final ne sera dévoilé que le 11 mars, mais le plateau s’annonce grandiose, comme toujours. Chaque année, le Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, l’un des plus beaux tournois de tennis au monde, le plus ancien sur terre battue, suscite un très fort engouement. En 2024, il a rassemblé plus de 148 000 spectateurs sur site et captivé plus de 36 millions de téléspectateurs.
