Why would God lead us into temptation? Doesn’t He love us and want us to live His way? Of course He does! With this request, we are admitting that the enemy that tempts us is stronger than we are, and hates us and wants to destroy us. So we are asking that God wouldn’t let temptation anywhere near us.
