LEADERS KNOW SHORT CUTS, COST SAVINGS AND WORK AROUNDS USUALLY TAKE LONGER AND COST MORE “A mentor of mine, Dr. Randy Weiss has reminded me many times: ‘No matter what the project, plan or production it will always take longer than you thought and cost more than you thought.’ This is no where more true than in the realm of leadership. Hiring people without due diligence might seem to be a work around to onboard training. Delaying the upgrades to tools, systems and procedures might seem to be a cost saving strategy. Skipping the paperwork, approval process or research might seem to be a short cut to the next level. Great leaders learn from the mistakes of others. Short cuts take longer to get there. Work arounds require twice as much work. Not every cost saving saves money over the long haul.” J Loren Norris Watch the video Leading Leaders Podcast 1-03-23: http://www.jlorennorris.com/podcast/leaders-know-short-cuts-cost-savings-and-work-arounds-usually-take-longer-and-cost-more Leading Leaders Podcast for Tell It Like It Is TV CLICK HERE for the FREE StoryPower Assessment - https://form.jotform.com/222696275293163
