Trudy is a communication consultant and executive coach, and through her company Colinear, she helps leaders, managers and professionals to be engaging, have impact and influence by mastering effective communication. Her goal is to enable people to gain an edge and confidently take their leadership to the next level. She is a chartered practitioner and board member of the CIPR and co-hosts a podcast, Calm Edged Rebels.. Trudy has worked across a number leading organisations in the retail, hospitality, rail and construction industries, delivering the right level of communication aligned to the business and its priorities. Howard will be presenting at the IABC World Conference at the end of June on organisational listening. Howard has worked in the world of employee communications for over 25 years. Howard's career has seen him work in both ‘in house’ and consulting / agency roles. Today in his day job, he leads communications for the Clean Air sector of Johnson Matthey, a role he moved into in May 2018, following senior communication roles at global giants GSK and EY. Howard has long been passionate about the critical importance of listening for communicators, and by definition for the organisation. Together with colleagues Mike Pounsford and Kevin Ruck, Howard has published two reports on Listening in Communications with a third due to be launch on 13 April 2021, following the completion of a global survey. Howard is currently Past President of the IABC UK & Ireland chapter, having served as President from 2018-20. He also spent nine years as Chairman of Wealdstone FC, a semi-professional football club who currently play at the 5th level of English football.
