Leaders Should Never Accept This Answer

SEASON 9 The 2024 Leader Daily Leadership Tips and Discussions When leaders ask questions they expect answers. However, some times they get the basic "I don't know" answer, and that should never be accepted. There are very rare exceptions but generally, a team member knows something about the question being asked, and should answer accordingly. Take for instance if you are sitting down with someone who is not living up to their potential and/or if their attitude isn't good. If you have a feedback session or a simple one-on-one counseling session with them, and ask them "What is wrong"? Why are you not giving your all? They know something, and they should never answer that with an "I don't know."
