After having children my guest today experienced a slowdown in her legal career, penalised like most women still are for taking time out when her kids were born but she did not let that define her. Even though it meant transitioning into a new industry that she knew nothing about, she intentionally created a life that gave her the flexibility she needed as a mother but also allowed her to pursue her goals and dreams and ultimately become an owner of the business she worked in.
