from Highly Sensitive Money for Highly Sensitive People who want to align their values with their money · host Diana Gisel Yañez, CFP®

Leadership, Latinidad, and Internal Power: A Conversation with Dr. Ana María   In this episode, our guest Dr. Ana María López Caldwell and I dive deep into the unique challenges and strengths of being a Latino professional navigating leadership, identity, and purpose. Dr. Ana María brings her powerful blend of personal story, cultural insight, and coaching expertise to explore what it truly means to lead with clarity and intention—especially when your values don’t always align with the systems around you. Dr. Ana María shares how her journey from Colombia to the U.S. shaped her understanding of privilege, identity, and the internal dissonance many high achievers experience. Together, we explore what happens when ambition meets burnout, how to move through guilt around cultural identity, and how to reframe emotional sensitivity as a strength—not a setback. Ana María also breaks down a three-step framework for navigating internal conflict and offers tools for those working in systems they’re not fully aligned with.
