In the following years, Bardish served as the first woman to be named Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, and later as the Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, and the Chair of the Committee on Procedure and House Affairs. Today, her focus remains firmly on her community. Prior to being elected, she worked in roles across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors.
