A Gallup Survey reveals:• 55% of employees admit that they are disengaged in the mission of the organization, while 16%admit to being actively disengaged.• 71% of employees are not just working below their potential, but working at a minimum level!• The percentage of engaged managers is only somewhat higher than the percentage of engagedemployees - 35% of managers are engaged, while 65% are not engaged in their work!• One in two employees have left their job to get away from their manager at some point in theircareer.• Employees who are supervised by highly engaged managers are 59% more likely to be engaged than those supervised by actively disengaged managers. The Gallup Organization Surveys reveal that 70% of an employee’s engagement is directly attributable to their manager!
