PROMENADE PAVILLION CONCERT SEASON IN REVIEW Hunter Brucks | HB Concerts Inc.  Toledo city leaders handed Hunter Brucks the keys to operate the summer concert series at Promenade Park (newly renamed Promenade Pavillion) last year. Once all the t’s were crossed and the “i’s” were dotted … he had a shorter window to secure acts, secure a stage, and make something out of it. There were cancellations - low ticket sales for some and just a few shows that could be called successful. Additionally, Lucas County is looking into a study with ConnecToledo about the future of not only the site - but also the programming. So what’s the future of the summer concert series and how does Brucks grade himself on the job he did this year? SCHOOL SAFETY | STRATISITE REVISITED Scott Lowry - StrataSite  Jen Saba  - St. John’s Jesuit HS  Disaster planning in an age of mass violence. How schools are preparing for the threat of emergency situations. StrataSite is a Toledo company meant to remove roadblocks toward the “outside” emergency response plan creation, sharing and adoption between all responding agencies during an emergency. The program serves hundreds of schools in Ohio and Michigan - including St. John’s Jesuit in Toledo, which is using Stratisite this Fall for the first time. PRODUCER, ACTOR, AND COMEDIAN JOE GATTO  Joe Gatto | Producer, Actor, Comedian “Impractical Jokers”   You know him from the popular show, “Impractical Jokers,” but Joe Gatto is much more than a prankster on TV. He’s a standup comedian, bringing his show to the Glass City this month. But he is also an author  of a children’s book - “Where’s Bearry?”.
