LEADING THE NARRATIVE REQUIRES MAPPING THE MESSAGE TO MAKE IT VIRAL THIS IS A LEADERS ROLE “Every plan starts with a brainstorm session, followed by a plan test or ‘war game’ to test the validity, then by a test of messaging in the marketplace. Some call this a focus group or test market. Some call it floating the balloon or taking the dog for a walk. In any case it is a matter of tentatively putting your ideas in the public for others to respond to. This test is needed to modify the message to a place of palatability and acceptance. What messages have you tested, included and repeated for those you lead? Where do those messages lead? Is it a prediction or a plan? Do you know? That’s what it means to lead the narrative.” J Loren Norris Watch the video Leading Leaders Podcast 4-7-23: Leading Leaders Podcast for Tell It Like It Is TV Miss something?
