Leaked Messages: Vance Thought Trump Failed as President Economically & Predicted Biden Win 9/30/24

from The Mark Thompson Show · host The Mark Thompson Show

Newly leaked messages do not bode well for the relationship between JD Vance and Donald Trump. The “Washington Post” says in 2020, Vance was using X (then called Twitter) to send direct messages critical of Trump. The WP says Vance was not pleased with Trump’s record as president writing, “Trump has just so thoroughly failed to deliver on his economic populism (excepting a disjointed China policy)”. In the final year of Trump’ presidency, Vance reportedly wrote, “I think Trump will probably lose,” and mentioned turning down a job from “the emperor.” It wasn’t the only surprising revelation this weekend. We welcome CBS television and iHeart Radio Political Analyst Gary Dietrich to the show to discuss it. Author Matt Murphy joins Mark & Courtney for True Crime Corner. Matt was a Senior Deputy District Attorney, worked with the Orange County DA Homicide Unit and as an ABC News Legal Analyst. He’s the author of “The Book of Murder: A Prosecutor’s Journey Through Love and Death. The Mark Thompson Show 9/30/24Patreon subscribers are the backbone of the show!
