He also served as a secondary principal for 21 years. He lives near Flint, Michigan, with his wife, Natalie. They have two grown children and five grandchildren who live nearby and keep them busy. Natalie and Ken both give many hours to BetterInvesting, a nonprofit that supports investment clubs throughout the nation. Ken has served as President of his BetterInvesting chapter, the Mid-Michigan Chapter. as well as teaching extensively for the chapter and the national organization. He is a regular on BI’s Ticker Talk. Ken also presents regular programs with Mark Robertson of Manifest Investing. Their Bull Session programs on Tuesday afternoons draw an enthusiastic audience. In addition, Ken cohosts a monthly program for his chapter called The Mid-Michigan/Manifest Investing Roundtable. He is an active member of four investment clubs. He founded and chaired the Great Lakes Coalition BetterInvesting Regional Conference, has twice served as chair of the BetterInvesting National Convention, and served as Chairman of the BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory Board for three years. He travels to many parts of the country throughout the year, offering programs to BetterInvesting chapters. Ken has been honored numerous times by the Better Investing organization, most recently with the George Nicolson award for outstanding contributions to investment education. Ken and Natalie love the theater, are avid readers and gardeners, and enjoy as much travel as they can fit into their busy schedules!
