I joined a local model club where I continued to learn how to follow the BI principles.  Currently, I am a Director for the SE Michigan Chapter, a past President, and current VP.  For several years I have co-taught three different mutual fund and stock investment classes at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Michigan (OLLI) with a friend who is a retired research professor.I started an investment club in Ann Arbor, MI with people from our stock classes, and we are finishing our third year of investing in February 2021.  We have managed to achieve an AIRR of 28.9% since our inception, a feat I think is due primarily to following the principles of BetterInvesting – but a rising market has certainly helped.
