She has worked as a Scientist, an Engineer, a Computer Programmer, and a Project Manager. Her last assignment in the Federal Government was as a Safety Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration working on the integration of Unmanned Aircraft/ drones in the National Airspace System.  She started her Federal career as a Physicist with the Navy.  Her formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in physics and a Master of Engineering Science degree with an emphasis in Computer Science.  She was born, raised, and educated in Baltimore City, Maryland completing her higher education at Morgan State University and Loyola University Maryland.  In 1997 she was invited by a friend to come to a meeting to form and ultimately join the 12 Karats Investment club where she became one of the founding members of the club. Her passion is encouraging women to invest and empowering women in the area of financial literacy and investing.  She is currently a founding member of the Maryland Model Investment Club which was formed in 2015 and has been a volunteer with the Maryland Chapter of BI for many years and serves today as a Maryland Chapter Director.
