We’ve been taught that we have to get up early, meditate, write in our journal, drink our green juice, and then start our day. I’m guilty of all of this. I DO all of these things and I enjoy doing them because they get me into a positive state of mind. But I have found that we sometimes use our morning routines as a sort of perverse form of procrastination. I have discovered that if I’m able to do my ONE thing before completing the whole morning routine, my life blows up exponentially.
