She grew up without having the best influences around her and got into a lot of trouble by being a follower. One day she was sitting around smoking and thinking "this is not me, I'm not elevating myself." So she decided to join the Army. When she got out she didn't know what career path to take so she was again at a stand still in her life. Since her cousins and brothers were all singers and rappers, she decided to rap and sing with them for fun. One day she was listening to some beats and realized that she wanted to be a songwriter. She wrote her first song in a half hour and has been writing songs ever since. SavKay is a rap artist who encourages others to be sure who they really are and what they really want.
