This sparked his interest in the immune system, which led him on a path to help people achieve their highest potential. He studied biochemistry and environmental health and went on to receive his doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then trained in internal medicine at Maine Medical Centre. He now practices natural and functional medicine in Richmond, Virginia, where his mission is not to treat disease but cure them.
